Ramadan Fun & Decor Ideas
It’s not too late to put up some festive decor, to lift your spirits and get you and the family in that festive spirit. We’ve compiled a quick list to help you decorate your home, some ideas for kids, some fun things to do, as well as our Pinterest boards to give you some inspo and activities. We’ve also compiled some amazing shops where you can get all what you need.

Quick & Easy Ways to Decorate Your Home:
- A cute “Ramadan Mubarak” banner (can buy or DIY)
- A Ramadan wreath or sign for the front door
- Balloons
- Hanging paper lanterns, or tissue pom poms (this is an easy DIY)
- Lanterns with a candle or flickering lights
- Hang lights indoors/outdoors
- Sadaqa jar
- Good deed jar
If you have kids:
- Itikaf tent
- Countdown till eid or advent calendar
- Ramadan stories (The Curious George version is so cute)
- Ramadan basket or gift (You can fill it with tasbih beads, books, cute Ramadan pj’s, sweets, or small toys)

Ramadan Fun:

- Bake-a-thon (Bake cute sugar cookies and decorate, mamoul, biscotti and have a stock of your favourite cookies filled in a jar)
- Make gift bags to drop off for neighbours/family & friends (filled with candies, dates, chocolates, cookies)
